Record Book Top Ten and Minimums

Some animals shown below are listed as endangered or are on CITES Appendix I; however, they may be accepted for the Record Book if taken prior to date of listing or under certain circumstances. Please refer to Criteria for Accepting Animals on page 12, paragraph 33 of the SCI Measurer's Manual, or contact the Trophy Records Office at SCI headquarters in Tucson, Arizona, for instructions.

The bowhunting minimums listed below will be used only in the Bowhunting Record Book. Bowhunting trophies that appear in the general Record Book are subject to the same minimum scores as trophies taken by rifle.

"ED" (editor's discretion) means there is no set minimum at present. Entries for these animals will be accepted at the discretion of the Trophy Records Committee.
